Our returns period has been extended to 60 days for purchases made from 16th March until further notice.

For other international destinations please be advised that DHL and DPD will only make 1 DELIVERY ATTEMPT. The package will then be returned to us in the UK.

    I'm ordering from overseas, what currency will I be charged in?

    All orders are charged using £GBP and will be shown in £GBP at checkout and on your receipt. The currency converter is a guideline as to what the equivalent cost is in your chosen currency. Depending on the exchange rate, the price you pay may be different to the advertised converted rate.

    I'm ordering from overseas, will I have to pay duty in my destination country?

    We ship to the USA and most countries in the EU Delivery Duty Paid; that means we take care of the charges that customs will add to your goods if you are importing from us in the UK, so there wont be any additional duty payable when your items are delivered to you. If you are ordering from countries other than the USA and the EU, there are occasionally additional charges outside of duty charges that are applied to imports by the destination country's government. We do not have any control over these charges therefore if you are in any doubt about paying additional fees it would be advisable to contact the customs office in your home country. Please contact us at if you would like to check on your country status before ordering and we'll do our best to help. 

    I'm ordering from overseas, will my item be zero rated for VAT?

    If you would like to order products for delivery to a non-EU address, please contact us first at customer services as we are unable to remove the VAT on sales through our website. We can arrange for you to purchase items through a personal invoice and the products will be zero-rated, with no UK VAT chargeable on either. However, the price paid by you for the products and delivery services will remain the same as shown on the website.  Because of this, our website may not be the best way for you to buy products if you're either a non-UK resident and wish to claim back VAT on orders for delivery outside the EU, or you're an EU business customer expecting to buy goods and delivery services without VAT on them.

    International Returns 

    Unfortunately at this time, international returns are not free. Please note that international unwanted returns are the responsibility of the purchaser to return at their cost to our UK warehouse. How to return your item from outside the UK:  1. Contact us on to advise us you would like to return your item. 2. Package your bag in the original box it came in with the tag and protective coverings attached, ensuring its not squashed or packed poorly (damaged/unsaleable goods are not eligible for a refund) 3. Select a trackable postage service and obtain proof of posting to the address provided by our customer service team. All goods remain the responsibility of the purchaser until we receive them. 

    Important Returns Information 

    All items must be safely and suitably packaged to avoid damage whilst in transit. We will accept no liability for items being damaged before they are delivered to us. Please note that returns sent wrapped in paper or plastic bags or courier bags may not be accepted as they can get squashed and damaged in transit making them unfit for resale. 

    Refunds will be made to the credit or debit card used to purchase the item(s) in accordance with these terms and conditions. The time it takes to process your refund will depend on your bank/card issuer, from which the purchase was made. 

    If you return an item to us because it is faulty, we will reimburse you the postage paid, both at the time of purchasing and returning the item to us. (this does not affect your statutory rights). Please note that, in accordance with our terms and conditions, we do not offer exchanges or refunds for items that have been damaged due to lack of care, scuffing or mishandling.  

    If your item develops a fault, please contact us by email at and send a photo of the fault area for our reference together with your order number. 

    If you are returning an item because it is unsuitable, we only refund the cost of the returned item; you will be liable for the postage paid when purchasing the item. If you have placed your order for international delivery, you will be liable for the shipping paid when both purchasing and returning the item to us. 

    Once you have placed your order with Fact + Fiction, the title of goods passes to you and therefore you are liable for your order and you must first accept delivery to be able to return, cancel or amend your order. We're happy to make any amends to your order once you have successfully taken delivery of your parcel. We do not, however, accept any liability for packages that are not accepted by you at the point of delivery. We will be unable to refund items that you do not accept delivery for and you will be liable for the cost of the item delivered as well as any costs incurred in this item being returned to us. Please liaise with the delivery service provider directly should you wish to arrange re delivery or amend a delivery date / option. 

    Your Right to Cancel 

    Your right to cancel an order for goods starts the moment you place your order and ends 14 days from the day you receive your goods. This 14 day period is the time you have to decide whether to cancel, you then have a further 14 days to actually send the goods back. Order cancellations must be made in writing to Customer Services at and advise us of your intention to cancel. Please quote your order number. In this case, we will provide a full refund of the cost of the item, but you must return the cancelled items to us at your cost. If we do not receive the cancelled items back, we may arrange to collect them from you at your cost.
